Joey Kocur, a formidable enforcer in the NHL, played for the New York Rangers from 1990 to 1996. Known for his tough playing style and willingness to drop the gloves, Kocur became a fan favorite at Madison Square Garden. During his tenure with the Rangers, he played in 278 games, scoring 13 goals and 19 assists for a total of 32 points. However, Kocur's most notable contribution was his penalty minutes, amassing 745 PIMs, reflecting his role as a protector and physical presence on the ice. His rugged play was instrumental in the Rangers' 1994 Stanley Cup-winning season, where his toughness and team-first mentality were crucial components of their success.
